Since September a number of actions have been taken by the school as a result of the work of the School Council.

• Art work is now displayed in the Sixth Form Common Room.
• Pupils can print out homework and coursework at school. Black and white can be printed out in Homework Club and coloured in the Admin Library.
• The Council has held a meeting with Miss Leanne Howells from Careers Wales and representatives are now in the process of reporting back to Year Groups about the support available for all pupils.
• Key Stage 3 members met with Mr. Freter and have discussed pupil views about the literacy strategy delivered during registration. One of the suggestions was to link the literacy task with English lessons.
• Year 10 School Council members have been given the responsibility of updating the school website so that all pupils know who their Year representatives are and what the Council is achieving.
