Treorchy Comprehensive School

Ar y 22ain o Dachwedd, fel rhan o weithgareddau pontio'r ysgol cafodd rai o ddisgyblion Iaith Gyntaf Blwyddyn 6 y cylch wahoddiad i fynychu bore o weithgareddau yn Ysgol Gyfun Treorci. Cafodd y disgyblion hwyl yn ymarfer eu doniau dramatig yn ogystal â chyfle i fwynhau cystadlu yn erbyn ei gilydd yn ystod gwers chwaraeon.

Yn y prynhawn ymunodd disgyblion Iaith Gyntaf Blwyddyn 8 â'r disgyblion cynradd er mwyn mynd i wylio Panto “Jac a’r goeden ffa” yn theatr y Muni ym Mhontypridd.

Martyn Geraint oedd seren y sioe ac roedd y disgyblion i gyd yn llawn cyffro a bwrlwm wrth wylio’r cymeriadau yn perfformio ar lwyfan y Muni. Bu’r disgyblion a’r staff yn canu ac yn dawnsio a oedd yn sicrhau bod pawb wedi eu hudo gan hwyl ŵyl y Nadolig, (er mai ond mis Tachwedd oedd hi!)

Mwynheuodd pawb y daith ac edrychwn ymlaen at y sioe nesaf.

On the 22nd of November, as part of the school's transition activities, some Welsh Language pupils from year 6 were invited to enjoy a morning of activities at Treorchy Comprehensive School. The pupils had fun competing against each other in various sporting tasks, and they got the opportunity to show off their acting skills during a Drama workshop.

In the afternoon they were joined by First Language pupils from Year 8 to visit the Muni theatre in Pontypridd to see the Welsh Panto 'Jac a'r goeden ffa’.

Martyn Geraint was the star of the show and the pupils and staff enjoyed watching the characters on stage, whilst taking part in the singing and dancing. By the end of the day everyone was excited and looking forward to Christmas (Even though it was only November!).

We look forward to the next show.
