In Year 11, 39 pupils sat their AS level Welsh Examinations a year early. They achieved a 100% pass rate, with 80% of pupils scoring the higher A-C grades - 10 A grades, 11 B grades, 12 C grades.
 
Head teacher Bethan Guilfoyle commented “These results are outstanding in all areas of the curriculum enabling our students to study a variety of academic and vocational courses at university. The students have worked extremely hard with the excellent support of parents and staff and we wish them the very best in their future studies and careers.”
 
 
GCSE Results
 
2010 saw Treorchy Comprehensive School pupils achieve an unprecedented set of results, beating the 80% barrier!
 
83% - 204 pupils, achieved five subjects at the highest A*-C grades
 
97% - 238 pupils, achieved five subjects at the A*-G grades
 
25 pupils achieved eight or more subjects at the top A*/A grades
 
50 pupils achieved 5 or more subjects at the top A*/A grades
