Treorchy Comprehensive School


The sky is the limit for two high-flying A-Level students at Treorchy Comprehensive.

Adrijana Milat, from Ystrad, and Alice Parry, from Pentre, both secured places to study at Oxford and Cambridge respectively.
 
Adrijana will be studying French and Spanish at St John’s College, Oxford. She achieved four A* to A grades including, an A* in French, an A in Spanish, an A in Geography, an A in AS Welsh and an A in the Welsh Baccalaureate.
 
Alice will study Education with Religious Studies at Homerton College, Cambridge and gained four A* to A grades. She earned an A* in Art, an A in Religious Studies, an A in Welsh and an A in the Welsh Baccalaureate.
 
Head teacher Bethan Guilfoyle said “These results are outstanding. These students have worked extremely hard with the excellent support of parents and staff and we wish them the very best in their future studies and careers.”
